Several crews from Mlaskoch Excavating and Utility, Inc. have been methodically working their way up the lake around Burchfield Cove. Using directional boring rigs, the crews are laying main line fiber duct along the right-of-way. The large orange spools are interduct that will contain the long runs of fiber.  In the coming week, additional crews will be laying the drops that connect customer homes to the main line fiber.
